Automotive Program Accreditation

If you have already applied for ASE/NATEF program accreditation, or anticipating your on-site evaluation and final accreditation status . . . . CONGRATULATIONS on this important step toward program improvement! However, if you’ve been thinking about it for quite some time, or if your school and/or state is holding your funding hostage until you get it done — THEN NOW IS THE TIME!!!

But, the best reason to obtain automotive program accreditation is for the benefit of your students! Armed with a decent set of basic hand tools and an official credential from an ASE/NATEF Accredited Automotive Technology Program, a student is able to show a potential employer that he or she is ready, willing, and able to start work as an entry-level technician. Job competition is really tough right now, but a well-qualified student can startout making $20k with a potential to earn $60k or more, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The automotive industry is also fast-paced, challenging, high-tech, fun, and students need YOUR help in order to succeed!
